Harnois Énergies Travel Stop in Woodstock, Ontario, a newly renovated truck stop on Highway 401 offering fuel, parking, showers, dining and services for truckers and travelers.

Harnois Énergies has officially opened a new large-scale site in Woodstock, Ontario, adding a major stop for truck drivers and travelers along Highway 401.

Located at Exit 230, the newly renovated facility is now the largest in the company’s network and operates under the Esso banner.

Known for years as a familiar stop in the trucking world, the Woodstock location has now been revamped and relaunched as a Travel Stop. Harnois Énergies says the project is part of its effort to strengthen services on one of Canada’s busiest east-west transportation corridors.

The site was designed to serve both transportation professionals and the general public. It includes two Proxi convenience stores, a wide selection of ready-to-eat food, a large dining area and an ice cream counter. The company also says the food offering will continue to grow in the coming weeks with the addition of quick-service restaurants, including a Tim Hortons.

To mark the opening, Harnois Énergies is offering gifts to early visitors.

The first 200 truck drivers will receive a special gift, while the first 250 motorists will get an Esso Price Privileges card.

The company is also launching a new program for truck drivers at the Woodstock site. Called the Driver’s Club Rewards program, it will be offered exclusively at this location. According to Harnois Énergies, members will have access to several benefits, including in-store perks, free meals and complimentary access to showers, subject to the program’s terms and conditions. Membership cards are available directly on site.

Harnois Énergies describes the Woodstock Travel Stop as an important step in its broader plan to develop large-format destinations built for truckers and travelers alike. While Woodstock is currently the only site of its kind, Harnois Énergies says it lays the groundwork for a growing network in the years ahead. A Travel Stop website is also part of that long-term vision, with the goal of bringing similar locations together under one platform over time.

The site also includes showers, laundry facilities, a truckers’ lounge, a movie theatre, mechanical services with more than 800 products, a certified CAT Scale, RV service stations, propane cylinder filling, two Proxi stores, an ice cream shop and a selection of beer and wine. A Tim Hortons with drive-thru is also listed as coming soon.

The new Travel Stop is located at 535 Mill Street in Woodstock, Ontario.
